
Kick off the Summer in Style at San Francisco's
SAN FRANCISCO – The popular North Beach Festival returns to San Francisco’s own historic “Little Italy” and the birthplace of the Beat Generation on Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th from 10am to 6pm. Proudly presented by the North Beach Business Association and produced by Steven Restivo Event Services, LLC, this treasured tradition features two full days of quality entertainment, live music, Italian street painting, and over 150 booths offering fine arts, crafts, gifts, fabulous food and beverage gardens. The North Beach Festival takes place on Grant Avenue (the oldest street in San Francisco) between Columbus and Filbert; Columbus Avenue between Broadway and Green; and Vallejo and Green Street between Grant Avenue and Columbus. Multiple stages will present live music throughout each day with room to groove or simply listen while taking a load off. Beautiful, live Italian street painting by local Bay Area artists will take place both days. Additional squares can be purchased for children to make their own street art with chalk. On Saturday and Sunday, from 2pm – 3pm, enjoy the long-running tradition of the Blessing of the Animals ceremony in The Shrine of Saint Francis of Assisi on Vallejo Street.
